GRASSY PARK police believe they have arrested one of two suspects who robbed the community near Klip Road cemetery.
On Thursday 17 February at about 05:45, a 22-year-old suspect from Parkwood was arrested shortly after stealing a ring.
According to Warrant Officer Wynita Kleinsmit, spokesperson for the Grassy Park Police Station, police were contacted and promptly arrived, arresting the suspect close to the scene.
Police are now on the hunt for the second suspect, known as Jade “Jady” Jacobs of Parkwood.

. On Saturday 18 February at about 22:00, a firearm with 52 live rounds was confiscated after a shooting in Grassy Park.
A 74-year-old man was arrested and appeared in court on Monday 20 February.
Kleinsmit said, the firearm was bought in Mozambique in 1948, according to the suspect.
