Thursday 16 February

Athlone:Walking for life presented by Arthur Clarke and friends will take place at 10:00 for 10:30 at the Turfhall Sports and Community Centre Complex in Belgravia Road. A donation of R5 is requested towards refreshments. Also, you can join as a member of the University of the Third Age for an annual fee of R30 for 2012. Kewtown: Kewtown Primary presents a Valentine’s Day karaoke in aid of much needed school funds from 19:00 until late at Spes Bona High School hall. Tickets are R20. Bring your own platter and drinks.

Saturday 25 February

Primrose Park: Madrasah al Irshad (School of Guidance) will be held at the Primrose Park Masjid (madrasah complex) on the corner of Kunene and Ohio Roads every Sunday morning from 10:00 until 12:30.

The aim is to impart Islamic knowledge and cultivate love for the Din al Islam. The registration cost is R70 per person and the fee to attend the madrasah is R150.

Registration takes place from Saturday 25 February.

Madrasah starts Sunday 26 February.
