Strandfontein: The Strandfontein Ratepayers’ Association will hold a public meeting in the Strandfontein community hall at 19:00. The association will be giving feedback on the proposed developments on Erf 2067, which is the land on which the library and clinic is situated. There is a proposal to change the land use designation in Philippi farmlands from the current “horticultural” to an “urban development” designation.

Mitchell’s Plain: The Mitchell’s Plain Clinic of Excellence invites boys from Mitchell’s Plain and surrounding areas to register for specialised coaching sessions on Sundays at Lentegeur sports field at 11:00. Boys born between 1997 and 1999 can apply. They also acquired the services of well-respected football legend, Puzzy Jansen, to coach the under-11 players, and parents are advised to register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Coaches wanting to improve their knowledge as well as their coaching abilities are welcome to join.
