Mission statement:

To promote and safeguard the interest of the  residents of the area,to keep them informed on issues relative to the area and to work towards towards unification of all persons and to remain an apolitical organisation.

Aims and Objectives:

1.  To ensure that the municipality meets its obligations in respects of services due to rate payers in the area , i.e. maintenance and upkeeps of structural and other general repairs.

2.  To concern itself with matters relating to adequate and efficient municipal representation of the area.

3.  To obtain improved municipal services and facilities, i.e. roads , drainage, street lightning , playing fields , health services etc.

4.  To promote by discussion lectures and/or inquiry a better   understanding of the functioning of departments of the municipality o Cape Town.

5.  To appoint from time to time such Sub Committees as may be deemed necessary to give the effect to the aims and objectives as specified above.

6.  To establish and instill a culture of accountability and transparency in all matters dealt with by the said organisation.

7.  To promote co- operation/liaison with other organisations with similar aims and objectives , locally and in other areas.
